The Country House Restaurant It is located in Magione, inside thefarmhouse and it is a place of the heart, a few steps from the Lake Trasimeno.
Young people and couples, as well as naturally families, they choose us to live an exclusive culinary experience, of the highest quality, with a la carte menu created in compliance with Umbrian tradition, the territory, and typicality.
Country cooking with style
With roots firmly planted in the family recipes, true classics of the peasant tradition from which our adventure began in 2003, we also offer some contemporary reinterpretations, thus creating an embrace between past and future.
We pay attention to those who wish to enjoy a cuisine that is guarantee of authenticity and love for the good things of the past, living a unique experience in a pleasant countryside setting, surrounded by nature and greenery.
Le low temperature cookinghave circular kitchen which eliminates waste and artifices, the use of shoots and edible flowers, the accurate plating, are not for us superfluous aesthetic whims but represent the right framework to enhance the excellence of our raw materials.

Younger guests are welcome and can find dishes suitable for them both in the à la carte menu and in the daily proposal, which is illustrated by our staff.
Naturally zero km
On our farm we raise cattle, pigs, sheep and grow vegetables and olives.
In the kitchen we use our meats, cured meats, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil and we produce jams, compotes and giardiniera.
What we do not produce ourselves comes from other local farms: this is how we are able to naturally follow the philosophy of zero km and that's why the dishes on our menu change frequently.
Restaurant for Guests
The guests of the farmhouse they have the buffet breakfast always included when booking the room while they can enjoy our cuisine by choosing between:
- A la carte dinner with daily reservation
- Fixed price dinner in half board for the entire duration of the stay (2 courses and dessert included, chosen from the à la carte menu)
Wine List
Also the wine and beer list It is proposed in a territorial key and includes exclusively products from selected Umbrian farms in some of the main wine producing areas (Trasimeno, Montefalco, Assisi, Perugia).
The selection includes white, red, rosé and sparkling wines, as well as vinsanto and fortified wines.
Among them, some stand out organic productions and one by heroic mountain viticulture from Mount Subasio.
Both the local wines and the surprising hemp farm beer coming from Nocera Umbra go perfectly with our dishes, enriching their flavour and enhancing the gastronomic experience.
The Bar of Rediscovered Time
The latest addition to the farmhouse, the bar is a welcoming space inside the restaurant hall where enjoy an original cocktail or a meditation wine, exchanging a few words with the owners and getting in touch with the true essence of La Casa di Campagna.
Complete the offer with a selection of teas and herbal teas whose herbs, spices, flowers and plants are infused in hot water for a pleasant moment of relaxation in the afternoon or after dinner, completed by our assortment of homemade biscuits.
