La Casa di Campagna is a family-run farmhouse , a few steps from Lake Trasimeno.
We have been welcoming you since the early 2000s in the oasis of peace and relaxation that we have created by renovating a typical Umbrian farmhouse from 1800.
We are surrounded by hills and fields, in the morning we are accompanied by the chirping of birds and in the evening we can observe the stars lying on the grass.
Our farm restaurant is open to the public ; the dishes tell family stories, showcasing the raw ingredients we grow and raise on the farm, enveloping them in an elegant yet authentic contemporary style that never forgets the roots of Umbrian peasant cuisine.
The rooms are all different from each other, renovated giving space to reuse and creativity.
Guests can stay in B&B or half board.
The swimming pool and the large spaces allow you to enjoy moments of absolute relaxation.
Our farmhouse is a real country house, authentic by nature.
Where we are
The Country House is located in an absolutely privileged position in beautiful Umbria, the Green Heart of Italy.
We are approximately 2 hours from Rome and Florence and, once you arrive, you can easily reach all the main towns in the region, whether they are the villages overlooking Lake Trasimeno , or the beautiful medieval cities of Perugia (15 min), Assisi (40 min) and Gubbio (50 min), up to the Marmore Falls (1 hour) or Spoleto and the magnificent Valnerina.
And in front of our Agriturismo passes the famous Perugia-Trasimeno cycle path , much used by bikers and joggers.
Our small region is all within easy reach, but nearby Tuscany also has plenty of opportunities to showcase its beauty with day trips.

A country house surrounded by greenery
The internal and external spaces are created to put everyone at ease: the structure is in fact spread over a single building with the restaurant on the ground floor.
The large veranda, heated in winter and open in summer , allows you to dine surrounded by greenery year-round; several furnished corners in the garden invite you to stop and relax, while children can enjoy the play area and enjoy watching the goldfish swimming in the pond.
Enjoying the outdoors is certainly one of the factors that inspires a farm stay. At La Casa di Campagna Farmhouse and Restaurant, the culinary experience offered by the farm restaurant and the naturalistic experience offered by the vegetable garden and farm animals make for an unforgettable stay, whether for just a meal or a multi-day vacation.

For travelers who prefer to relax and stay on the farm , the swimming pool overlooking the surrounding hills and the garden are at their complete disposal, as is the shaded porch overlooking the vegetable garden and the play area.
The opportunity to spend time outdoors is one of the reasons people choose a farm holiday.
The large garden includes a children's play area , a swimming pool area with surrounding lawn and trees providing natural shade.
A space is dedicated to the farm animals, a large porch with tables and chairs where breakfast is served in the morning, tasty aperitifs, and candlelit dinners in all seasons.
The swimming pool enjoys a private space, in the silence and peace that only nature can offer.
It is possible to use the swimming pool, if available, even without staying overnight.

For sports enthusiasts, we would like to point out that the La Casa di Campagna Farmhouse and Restaurant is located:
- 5 minutes from the Autodromo dell'Umbria: for many years we have been a privileged destination for motorsport enthusiasts.
- on the Perugia-Trasimeno cycle path: cyclists at La Casa di Campagna can enjoy a comfortable stopover thanks also to the presence of the farm restaurant and the swimming pool.
For lovers of open-air tourism , the La Casa di Campagna Farmhouse and Restaurant welcomes campers for one night with free parking.
The La Casa di Campagna Farmhouse and Restaurant is located in the heart of a land rich in history and nature , from which it is possible to easily reach the main Umbrian art cities and follow itineraries that wind through the green countryside and the suggestive overall views of the area.
There are numerous activities and experiences that can accompany a stay on a farm, ranging from:
- nature trails: walks along marked trails, bicycle excursions (rental points near the farmhouse) and even horseback or quad trekking at affiliated operators
- historical-artistic itineraries (Perugia, Assisi, Castiglione del Lago)
- food and wine tours (DOP Umbria Oil Route, Colli del Trasimeno Wine Route)

This site, with a view to saving energy and reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, was created taking into account the impact on the planet, reducing harmful emissions to a minimum.
Currently The Country House is among the “cleanest” sites in the world, producing CO2/page well below average.

- Your animal friends of all sizes are welcome at the La Casa di Campagna farmhouse.
- Upon arrival we welcome them with a bowl of fresh water and we are surrounded by miles of Countryside trails so you will have no difficulty whatsoever in walking with them in nature.
- The animals will be housed in room with you. During the stay, animals cannot be left unattended inside the rooms. In case of damage, the costs for repair will be charged, unfortunately.
- Dogs are allowed in the pool area (but not in the pool!) and to the restaurant but we rely on the sensitivity of each owner to best manage their dog, knowing their nature and sociability, especially in the presence of children.
- In any case, the use of the leash given the presence of numerous farm animals such as horses, sheep, goats and chickens, as well as our dogs, which could arouse the curiosity of your furry friends.
- A two-minute drive from the farmhouse is available veterinary practice who will be happy to assist you with any needs you may have.
- We do not have a fenced area to let dogs roam free.
- Upon your departure we will charge you the sum of €20,00 for the mandatory sanitization operations in order to guarantee subsequent guests a comfortable stay.

The Farmhouse The Country House It is accessible to campers to visit the educational farm, discover the typical products and taste the zero-mile cuisine of the restaurant.
With the convention AGRICAMPER ITALIA dedicated to campers It is also possible to stay for one night for free in the outdoor spaces of our farm and take the opportunity to buy products or dine in our farmhouse
Pool
The swimming pool is at the complete disposal of the guests of the farmhouse.
The pool is 12 m x 5 m in size and the water depth varies from 1.10 to 1.90 m; there is a comfortable semi-circular brick access staircase on which you can also sit; the pool is surrounded by a lawn area for sunbathing equipped with sun loungers and there is a large tree-lined area with natural shade.
The swimming pool is surrounded by greenery, with a view of the garden and the surrounding hills and is Open from May to October.
